Good Monday Morning

I am on the last row of blocks, and then I can take this quilt out of the frame and bind it. So there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Only one week left to finish our Summer Stash Quilts. yikes.

This is going to be a quick post and hopefully I can make some rounds later today, but it's kind of a busy morning around here. Working up those suds!

Ulla has finished her quilt!
So has Natalie at Home Sweet Hideaway.
And we have a new participant in the challenge.. Mercedes.. who is just starting.

If you have a finished quilt and didn't get the new badge yet, or a progress post that I may have missed, please let me know.

Hope you enjoy the Fern Bisel Peat picture.. she is one of my favorite children's illustrators.

i was first inspired to join because you were using clothing & a scrappy look & you were hand quilting in a frame. it seemed true to the craft. i love my new choices. but you left an impression that the roots of quilting could be incorporated into our daily lives today. i'm happy you are almost finished.

Lovely picture of the little mother washing her doll's clothes! Good luck with your last row of blocks, I hope your fingers don't hurt (too much).

Hi sweet friend! I love Fern Bisel Peat, too! I will have to do a post about some of my 1940's Play Mate children's books. They have her illustrations in them.

Guess what? The eagle has landed....email me and I will shoot you a pic of the little girl piece wearing a pink dress. Is that the one you were needing?

Have a great week! Happy Stitching!!!

I love that illustration - both the expression on her face and the faces of the little dolls at the bottom.
