First, all the fabric you see in these pictures, and the ric-rac, I got for $1 total. The whole lot, including the awesome table or dresser skirt.. whatever it is. Whatever I could fit in the little plastic bag. All but maybe that pink dot on the bottom is vintage. Not sure about the small pink gingham either.. I have not tested it yet for fabric content. It may have poly in it. I particularly like the solids.. the orange and blue and yellow. These to me are most wonderful! I do have something in mind for them be sure.
A box of very pretty red vintage Christmas ornaments. Two dollars. This is the only kind of stuff I put on my tree. Can't wait now for Christmas!
And the little Delft windmill to go with my Amsterdam Canal house! It is obviously newer. But I don't even care. Three dollars.
We also found a very nice backgammon game, but I didn't take a picture of that. It is kind of boring looking. But we sure enjoy playing it every evening out on the deck. It beats watching anything on TV right now.
We also bought some awesome fresh yellow and red cherries, blueberries, raspberries and asparagus on the way to the truck. It seemed like a tremendously long walk back.. probably because we parked up on a hill. We didn't think of that going in. And when we got there, I happened to look up and see this little guy sitting on top of the antenna.. priceless. It was a dragonfly, and he sat up there a long time giving us the most delightful show..
I hope to be back tomorrow with pictures from the Mennonite quilt auction in Kidron. You are all enjoying your weekend?

LOVE the vanity skirt! It is similar to one I had as a child. Such pretty, pretty fabric! That dragon fly photo is so cute!
Hi, love the Christmas ornaments, I love old ones, between my husband and mine we have a nice collection, some he had as a child and me too. It makes the holidays seem extra special. I have not gone to a flea market in a long time, seems around here they are not too many. The dragonfly photos are great!

Hi again, my email is jelliesjamsdoll@yahoo.com
I will find the items later today and post a picture on my blog for you to see.
I am loving making my dolls again! Enjoy the rest of the day and your weekend. Also, I really enjoyed seeing the Hitty dolls, so sweet!
Hia Eileen- wonderful bargains! I love the August pic with the quilts airing.
Looking forward to the quilt show and tell! Hopefully I'm off to the lakes today but the weather doesn't look good.
Yes I am missing my daughter- having males around just isn't the same we used to call them the elf dorks when they were busy playing World of Warcraft online. Still she is sending frequent emails and I even got a pic last night or her with a Boston Terrier pup called Lucy. I think she is having a great time so I'm so pleased for her. I can't wait to see what fabric she brings back asit's roughly half the price we can buy it for in the UK
What lovely fabrics you got for your dollar to fill the huge gap left by the stash quilt! The Christnas ornaments remind me of the thin glass balls we had at home when we were little. At my DD's first Christmas my mother gave her one silver and white ball from her own first Christmas tree. It is now over 92 years old!
Oh my goodness!! I want to come shop at your flea markets!!! all that great fabric for 1$??!! And those ornaments sell for a lot more than 2$ in the antique stores here...shoot I would have paid $2 for the great box they came in lol!!!
Oh my what finds! And that dragon fly reminds me of that moth I have a picture of. What a weekend!
