Just digging around...

This is just a quick post for the evening. I joined in with some others around here in blogland for a Christmas Cottage block exchange that Nanette and T are hosting..

Right now I hardly have a minute to call my own. But you can always seems to squeeze in a few minutes to dig in your stash for something you are really looking forward to.. right?

I discovered I don't have many Christmas prints, except for some moda civil war type prints in browns, greens and burgandy that I got last year at the quilt shop to use for doll dresses. But my heart truly leans more towards the actual vintage stuff. So if you are in my group.. and you really hate the thought of vintage fabrics in your quilt.. then please let me know. Otherwise.. you might get something made with a combination of these things below...

Not the turquiose blue.. that isn't going in the blocks. I just had that there on the table to hide a pile of junk so we could take pictures of my daughter blowing out the candles on her cake look at and forgot to move it for the picture.

I'm sure I'll come up with some more to add.. I haven't even touched all the little vintage squares I have in boxes that might be cute for windows.

The rest of the week is crazy busy still. I may try and do a Vintage Thingies Thursday.. those are always so much fun!

Hope you are getting a lot done.. no matter what it is..

Hia Eileen, that cottage looks like a lovely project. I think it's something I would try to make when I have some spare time so I daren't commit to joining up.

Can't wait to see all your creativity. Good luck in getting through all the stuff you've got on your plate.
