Within the past couple of days I ran across a two fun tote bag posts. Erin from House on Hill Road was showing some new projects she is starting.. and Karen's was working on this really pretty drawstring tote. These are both Amy Butler patterns, which reminded me that I never did finish showing you what I was planning to make with this:

Fabulous bags!!!
I really like your bag. Makes me want to try one. I have quite a few patterns, but never seem to get to making one. My list of things to do is tooooo long.

Darn, this is my 2nd attempt at posting a comment. I think my connection at home is bad or something.
Anyway I love both bags. I don't know which I love more. But the 2nd one posed against your beautiful yard looks just like it could be from a magazine. You really do take great photos. I wish you were my quilt photographer.
Both bags are just lovely! I need my bags roomy, too, but I'm a little shy with the use of colours. Your example is encouraging!
i want to make this pattern too. that beautiful fabric has just the right colors for transitioning into Autumn.
Of course its a beautiful bag..I have it here, totting it, parading it around, many are envious of it :D
You beat me to it. I was about to prepare the post for next week and blog about this bag too. I will link the post to this page :D
somehow..you matched everything perfectly, what a genius :D much love and hugs, and a big THANK YOU to you
Such gorgeous bags and a great use of the fabric! I always feel that way about cutting up fabric too! Well done!
wow, wonderful bag!
they are lovely.
Lovely bags Eileen. So practical too. Lovely use of the fabric.
As a recipient of one of the bags...I can attest that they are beautiful, arty, practical and ultra chic! Thanks again, Eileen!

Great bags and use of the beautiful fabric. Aren't you clever to incorporate the tie in the front.
This is THE cutest bag. You do good work....carry on!!!
I have seen these made up and they are so roomy and cute! Love your personal touch with the tie. Very cute and great choices of fabrics, too!
