Tea Swap from Australia

Yippee!.. Happy Day. My Tea Swap present arrived today.. all the way from Australia! I have been really watching my mail box carefully, ever since I figured out that Stephanie paired us up with the same partners. I saw where Bec from OhSewBusy sent out her package last week.. so I knew it was coming to me!.. because that was who I was making something for all along.

The package contained a gigantic Cadbury chocolate bar! We don't ever get this except for the Cadbury Cream Eggs in our Easter baskets.. and those are savored.. so you can imagine my glee!
And then a package wrapped in the cutest dish towel tied with beautiful ribbon...
..look at these adorable cups, creamer and sugar bowl. I just love this!

Nice and absorbent too..
Then when I unwrapped the bow, this was inside..
Delightful Mary Engelbreit pot holder and little fabric basket that Bec made just for me!

Oh I love the cherries! And I don't have anything made with this fabric. THANK you Bec! But wait.. inside the basket...

Yummy coffee. I am more of a coffee drinker than tea, so Bec must have done her homework to discover this. I have not tried this kind before.. so now I will have some!
And also inside the little bag was Fat Quarter of the ME Cherry fabric.. all tied up in the loveliest vintage red ric-rac. I am thrilled with this!
I do not have this deep shade of red ric rac.. it is wonderful. And Bec did such a lovely job on the potholder and bag. She also added a bit of fabric to use in case I wanted to add a loop to hang the pot holder up.. but I like it the way it is.

And a beautiful card with dogwood blossoms. It is that time of year here in the States.. time for blossoms and spring. But the leaves are falling where she lives.
Thank you so much Bec for the lovely gifts.. I am very happy with everything. And thank you Stephanie for hosting such a wonderful swap.

I find most recepients of chocolate eat them before they make it to the photo! What sweet gifts from Bec.

I am so pleased you like it! I didn't realise though until afterwards that you probably don't drink much instant coffee, so I hope it's ok. Like I said in my email, there is another package on it's way to you - I found the rest of the binding fabric for the twin potholder after I sent your parcel.

Oh those are so lovely Eileen! The bag is totally adorable as well as practical. I love the fabric combination. Almost wonderfully Christmassy too.

We have Cadbury's and Nescafe here in the UK too. The foil wrapper of the Cadbury's choc (did you know there is a Cadbury's World in wales?) is my fav shade or purple. Must be an association thing from childhood. LOL

Lovely goodies! It is a long way from Australia; so good the cherries are printed on the fabric and not fresh. The ric-rac is a lovely red.
