Some More Lovely Progress

I've been meaning to post this for a couple of days now, but the weather has been so nice here, I've been having too much fun outside and not sitting at the computer. But I do try and sit down and do a few stitches a day on our Summer Stash challenge, which will also qualify for one of Peg's Five By the End of July. But look at all the lovely stuff going on around blogland. Some of these are even finished! This certainly does inspire me! If I missed anyone, I'll be sure and add you to the next update.

And here is just a little bit of my stitching. The large denim squares are fun. I'm just doing whatever I fancy at the moment. Wish I would have taken pictures of the first row before I rolled it, but i was in such a hurry..
This one with the buttons is very handy. I've been tucking my tools in the slot to keep them from rolling off, since my quilting frame is slightly tilted and they do slide once in a while. The buttons are sewn shut on the one edge.
Hope you are all enjoying your weekend. It is almost July already!

Hia Eileen, love what you are doing and the contrast between the pattern and the denim. I hope to get the edge done on the Laurel Burch today! That will be a biggie off my to do list.

Ooo send that weather to this side of the pond- I'll grow gills at this rate! It's been raining cats and dogs.

So creative and so pretty. Love the mix of fabric and stitching and the unexpected--like the button placket. Very interesting quilt! Love it.

You've used a lot of lovely fabrics in your squares. The hand quilting looks like a lot of work...
