Points of interest in above photo.. the old game board underneath.. it helps to keep the puzzle pieces together in the new game, because the card table has too much sponginess and lets the puzzle pop up. I love that old game board.. it has checkers on this side, and Crokinole on the back. Then there's our newly adopted dice-rolling pad up at the very top. I know Nanette intended it for a pot holder.. but it is just SO perfect to roll the dice on.. (I hope you don't mind us using it for that ..Nanette. I won't ever put it away in the gamebox.)

Thanks for joining in! Finishing a game absolutely counts! This one looks like fun and I love the old game board underneath.
All I could finish this week for Friday was a box of chocolates - didn't take very long - but I already crushed it in the "packing material for re-use" -bin. The game looks like one I could never win!
Hey, I just joined Finished for Friday and the project I finished was de-toyifying the upstairs of my house! That counts, right?!
Lovely.
I must say I am a very bad looser, so my Husband always ends up with a good laugh when we are paying togehter.
Oh yes I have signed up for sure!!
How funny! What an incredible great way to use the potholder. I'm totally in agreement with it! Looks like a fun way to spend time with family - the game I mean.
I keep meaning to say I love your hair cut and new pic. So so cute. And I love what Ulla finished. Sounds like what we've been doing here. She's funny.
"finished by friday"...that's a good idea :) I'm off to read up on that. Not that I have anything finished to show every friday......unless...can it be dishes too?? Lol! Have a great weekend!
Hello Eileen, I know exactly what you mean..keeping the dateline part hehe :D
I dont know this game and I thought at first the blue piece was one of your quilts LOL..and said to myself, now that's interesting piece of cloth..how did she get such fabric HAHA :d ...sorry, Saturday morning and my brain's not working.
Big hugs and may you have a great weekend...better luck next time ;p
omigosh! WE are a Settlers family, too! Played twice over Christmas and, of course, I didn't win. But I still love to play it.
Looks like a fun game!
That board underneath is excellent! I have heard (mostly from you!) that this game is a lot of fun. I know it has a big following and people do love it. I am so tempted to buy it!
I have never heard of that game. It looks very interesting. The shapes look just like a grandmothers flower garden quilt! Great to have a family game night.
What an interesting game- no no one has heard of it here. I did threaten the children one year with making up my own game based on the un-lost bits of games we had and encorporationg them into a treasure hunt and dress up game. No one wanted to play. Weird lot! LOL
