More Blog Friend Goodness & Triangles

For months now I have been reading Farmer Julie's blog and been wanting to get one of these vases. Her work is really beautiful. Mine came in the mail the other day. I keep touching this little bowl and clicking my nails against it.. love how it's crafted. Of course it looks way better filled with Julie's flowers. You should see her Etsy shop! (p.s. she doesn't know I'm writing this of course).

Hello Jane! Here is a new blog I found.. well new to me. Love this girl's fabrics and she is giving some of it away for her birthday. But don't bother to go and sign up.. there are too many there already... you'll never win. :-D

And here is an award or badge whatever that I have not seen yet. And now I have one! It came from Threeundertwo at Lit&Laundry. This is one of my very favorite blogs.. you will be adding it to your reader too. I am totally honored to get this from her.

I am having trouble passing this one along though. Not that I want to hoard it. But lately I have had so many new readers, and there are way more than four faithfuls. So I can't choose. And the rules only say that I "may" choose 5.. right?

Here are the wonky triangles stacked up so far. I only have one and a half blocks yet to pick apart, and then I will sort through them by size and print etc. I'm going to make "Double Pinwheels". That will help me with the problem of some being so much smaller than the others. I can cut the little ones down with just a bit of scrap left over, and add small white triangles. We'll see how it goes.
