Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to all you dad's out there. Especially to my own.

I always thought my dad was fairly tech savvy.. and he was. This was in 1958, and I am sure that is probably a transistor radio in his shirt pocket with a headset. He listens to classical music. I still have this little mint green dress. It doesn't fit me anymore.
I talk to my dad every morning on the cell phone. He lives about eleven hundred miles from me in a nice warm climate where he can go outside every day and work in his yard or take a zip around the place on his scooter. Isn't he cute? And he would like to take your picture too.

And oh! Happy-First-Day-of-Summer too. It is gorgeous here today, not too hot, but sunny and breezy. The past few days have looked like this:

I've been working all week on a special doll clothes order that I really can't blog about. But I did do one fun quilty thing on Friday.. I'll tell you about it tomorrow. Can't wait!

Your dad looks so sweet! And look at you in that picture... I love the hairdo, it was so in style. Don't worry, we have been having the same rainy dreary weather as you. I am hoping it will change soon.

Happy fathers day! Here in Norway, we don't celebrate fathers day until the first sunday in November, so I've still got plenty of time to make my fathers day card... Your father looks sooo sweet. You're lucky to have such good relationship with him.

Sorry, meant to say second sunday in november for Norwegian fathers day... (not that it really matters to you over the pond....;))

Nice that you can talk to your Dad every day.
We've had the same weather in Ontario, much rain followed by glorious sunshine today, great for the garden.
Looking forward to your Quilty surprise.

I can definetly see where you and your Dad resemble. He looks like he really enjoys life. We've been having upper 90's weather so being outside for long is not much fun. Tell Mr. Attic "Happy Father's Day" for me!

It has been Pennsylvania weather here. For 2 weeks we have had rain on and off. I've loved it. And it was a wet spring anyway. I'm certain this week brings the dry Utah summer heat. It was nice while it lasted. Miss that. The pic of you and your dad is super cute. He's a handome dude.

Eileen, that is one good looking father you have there. I remembered mine too, though he passed on but he's always in my heart. Hey, I remembered you said how active he was and it is so super sweet that you still talks to him :P
