This, That and the Other..

This past week really seemed to go fast, didn't it? Memorial Day.. I have pictures but they are in my daughter's camera. I'll have to ask her for them later.
And the days have been busy with lots of silly little things that take time, like taking cars in to get serviced, getting haircuts, doing banking before the end of the month comes and it's forgotten about, etc. But I am working on a couple Little Somethings.. can't really show right now.. but here is a sneak peek of the pretty vintage fabrics I get to use..
The Lavender seeds that Melanie sent me from England are really coming along. I have Eleven teeny little lavender plants..(I only count 10 in the photo, but I'm sure there are 11). I just hope I can keep them going after they get big.. and year after year. Not sure where their permanent home is going to be.. but I keep looking. They are still in a pot in their seeding soil. I used acid fertilizer when I planted them, so I'm going to keep using that on them since they seem to like it!

Really been enjoying my pansies. There are several pots all around the place.. I keep looking at them while they last. I know the soon to be hot weather will make them wilt away. But right now their little smiling faces are brilliant and cheerful to me!

I have Garden Roses and Peonies blooming now too, and the scents are heavenly.

Thank you all for the wonderful comments about my trip to Florida and my yard and stuff. Everyone has such good ideas, and I owe you all a nice email or a visit soon... (maybe if it rains for a few days instead of this glorious sunshine and 75 degrees)...

Love the fabrics in your sneaky peek project. Pretty! My peonies have bloomed and are fading. We need rain so hopefully it comes tonight. How awesome to have lavendar seeds from Melanie.

Send some of the sunshine this way! It has been raining for several days now and it just makes me so tired. I love your photos of the pansies and of course the fabric. I can't wait to see what you are working on.

Those pansies are so pretty!

It has been raining for days here and is quite cool. I think I might live near Jackie in Southern New England. But, the rain has made the landscape a luscious green so we are happy wit it.

Hmmm.....wonder what you are making?

Eileen, the rain must be missing you...we have had it for the last several days, off and on. It is horrible because I need to get the veggie plants in the garden. Hubby did get the seeds in though.
Don't you love pansies???

Your flowers are beautiful!!! Tomorrow I'm going to send the dove out...if it comes back with a branch...I'll know that I can leave the ark to see how our plants are doing. If they haven't floated away, I will try to snap some pics so that you can see, too. (We are suppose to have a dry day tomorrow).

Your lavender babies look great! I wish them a long and happy life in your garden. Some of my peonies have buds already, but I still have no summer flowers.
The vintage fabrics are very pretty.

Your pansies are so pretty. We can't grow them around here because of the deer.
