Well it's not.
So since I can't tell you yet what I'm making.. I'll just say that it feels WONDERFUL to have something in my frame again. I never really realized how much I love hand-quilting. I have got to get that Black and White top done so I have something to work on after this. Maybe this week I'll do that, because I know I'll need to take breaks to let my fingers toughen up.
Lots to do today.. it is supposed to warm up to 48F.. yippee!
Have a happy weekend...

How special this project will be...especially to be hand quilted! Yes, we shall bask in the warmth today, won't we.
The swirls look really nice.
yes, hand quilting is special...but fingers do get tired...I love to hand piece and hand quilt!
You have beautiful hand quilting. What a sweet project - can't wait to see it...
Very pretty quilting...you know, I'm not in the tea swap, so you could just send me a little pic.....hmmm...what do you think? lol
Lovely hand quilting Eileen, I must try hand quilting again, it is so relaxing. I am a slave to machine quilting because it is fast, but nothing beats the look of a hand-quilted quilt. I bet that might be 'steam', possibly from a teapot?? Hmmmm... Best, Ani
Oh you 'miss teaser' you!!! I LOVE whatever it is...creamy, fluffy..swirly...my kind of eye candy....but my eye keeps wandering w-a-y over to the edge trying to peek in and see more. The hand quilting is FAB girl!!
It looks like a peacock tail, and that you've put somehting underneath for those effects. I cant wait to see the final result...glad that its warming up now.
Your quilting is beautiful! Such lovely swirls! And I am just loving the sneak peeks of the tea swap projects!
Looks like it is going to be very pretty.
Your peacock's tail looks like it was steaming hot! The hand quilting looks so beautiful. Cute little bits of fabric at the end of your post.
Can't wait to see what your working on! I wish I loved hand quilting as much as you! I'd rather sew a binding... my hand quilting seem to lay here forever and not get done...
