I confess I did not use 100% Every Iota, there are at least three prints that are generic. But I think it still turned out ok. In case you don't feel like clicking to make the picture bigger, here is a closeup of one of the edges. I just wanted you to see the quilting if you can. The print is so busy that it is hard to see when it is just on the bed. But out here in the sunlight I notice it a little more. There is a big funky flower on each nine patch, and random squiggles on the border and sashing. These were all done by hand in the quilting frame. It was a lot of fun!
Also, here is one more little group of posies I found in the front yard this morning, under the shadey trees and bushes. I do need to move these pretty crocus' to a better place, some years they don't even come up. But it is so hard to remember in the fall to dig them, plus usually I can't find them! I brought them from my late mother's home after Dad sold the place, so I really do want to try and keep them going.
I am hearing the weather reports from all around the USA, and I feel so blessed that we are having such a glorious week of springtime so far.
Hope your Monday is going fine, and for my friends on the other side of the planet.. your Tuesday. :)

Ah spring and a quilt on the line! Just what I need. Unfortunately it snowed here this morning. But I know spring IS coming.
I was just looking at that in my magazine last night! I'm trying to figure out my next project and was looking through stuff for inspiration. I was thinking of doing this using some Kaffe Fasset I've got. Using your own "random" fabric just makes it better!!!! It turned out great and I am always impressed when someone hand quilts!!!!!
I love that quilt - it's so bright and cheerful. Not many would ever know there are some renegade fabrics in there. I really admire your hand quilting - doesn't it take a long time? I am still jealous that you have flowers peeking through - how wonderful that you have some of your mother's!
As soon as I saw the title of your post, I knew that it was that wonderful, glorious, bright and funky fabric. I love, love, love the fabric and the quilt!! Your daughter has terrific taste. Excellent quilting job! Aren't you glad that spring is finally coming around?? We are in the month of April, anyway!
Your quilt looks so happy and full of summer! The quilting must have taken you ages and it looks just perfect for the quilt.
As for spring coming, I saw last week the first coltsfoot by the path I took to the village, and the first snowdrops are still in good condition in my garden, for the third week now. Nothing else yet.
oh, eileen! your quilt is just gorgeous! spring coming here, too (illinois) - your pic makes me all the more anxious!
Hi Eileen,
You have been tagged by me. Check out my post for the rules!
What a gorgeous quilt! It looks like sooo much work... but with an end result like that, it's worth it!
Thanks for commenting on my blog by the way.
Just found your blog and what a fun quilt, and hand quilted - WOW!
What a pretty glimpse of Spring!
I can see why your daughter went nuts! The fabric is gorgeous, it's so colorful and reminds me a bit on Kaffe Fassett designs. The quiltwork you did on the quilt is beautiful too, great job!
Wow what a great quilt, love all the bright colours. Great to see spring is comming to your place too. Be happy and stay safe..

Love the quilt - I have been admiring that range of fabrics lately and it looks really effective made up. The quilted flower in each block really finishes it off.
