Remember These?

Not the bananas. I don't expect you to remember them, even though they have been sitting on the counter for a week. But its another cold and snowy day in Ohio, so I'll make a couple loaves of banana bread from them.
While waiting for the butter to get room temperature, I thought I'd dig out some old magazines. I've been noticing the stuff from the 70's really making a comeback, including a lot of the crafts. I was in my teens and early 20's then, it really just seems like yesterday. But these things are new for a lot of folks. I came across a whole stack of McCall's Needlework and Craft magazines, and intend on having a blast going through them to find things to share.

But I also found this little book. Remember these??
Macramé plant hangers? I loved these. I bet they become popular again. I'm going to see if I can find the stuff to make them.
On the subject of sewing, I finished another spring dress for the Bleuettes. I have four dolls that need Easter clothes, here are the two done so far. They are also wondering where the Easter bonnets are. Always something! I hope everyone is having a lovely Friday. Now to get to that bread..
