While waiting for the butter to get room temperature, I thought I'd dig out some old magazines. I've been noticing the stuff from the 70's really making a comeback, including a lot of the crafts. I was in my teens and early 20's then, it really just seems like yesterday. But these things are new for a lot of folks. I came across a whole stack of McCall's Needlework and Craft magazines, and intend on having a blast going through them to find things to share.
But I also found this little book. Remember these??

Your Bleuettes make me think spring! It isn't far way but you sure are getting a lot of snow!
So sweet, I keep promising my girls new dresses and they wait and wait-sitting in their flannel night clothes! As soon as this kitchen stuff is final/complete I want to start sewing again. I am really enjoying your blog!

Wow...Macrame that really brings me back. I remember my grandmother was really into making the plant hangers and taught me how to make them. I had several. I had a white one with yellow beads and a jute one. I don't know whatever happened to them though.
Is it not lovely how old things can bring back good memories. I realy enjoyed your tin futher down on your blogg. They remind me about my grandmother. She always stored cookies in them. I have been thinking about asking you if it is ok if I link to your blogg. Then it is easier for me to find my way back??
