Just thought I would decorate this post a little with the Day Lilies that are gloriously parading in our back yard.
I confess I have not worked a whole lot more on my Summer Stash Challenge quilt since the last update. But there are at least 1/3 of the bloggers who signed up that HAVE.. and I want everyone to check out what they've been doing. Some of it is breathtaking! We have two Beth's, so I'm specifying them with their blog titles. We have two Amy's as well, but one of them has not given us her blog url as of yet.

Wonderful stuff going on here! Make sure you look and become inspired. And if I missed anyone's current update on your blog, please let me know!
Just a few thoughts about the challenge that we need to note. Please.. check over on the sidebar.. and if your name is not linked to your blog, it is because you have not given it to us yet and/or you are listed as a no-reply blogger, and we have absolutely no way of contacting you or even seeing what you are working on. We do want to include EVERYone who has signed up.. so please contact us either myself or Ulla. you can do that by either emailing us, or signing one of our blogs. Thanks!

And a few weeks ago, I blogged about the blueberry bushes that we planted in the back yard. Here they are! Blue berries! I took a picture before eating them.

Hello Eileen. I am bit busy posting this days and I have another update on the Summer Stash Challenge too.
I will now look at the progress the others are making. This is a great way to meet new people too!

I plan to make a blueberry ginger pie this weekend...homegrown is better but I don't have any bushes. Your lilies are beautiful. Our are in full bloom too. Looking forward to checking out the bloggers you listed.
I love day lillies. I need to get more for our yard. I didn't realize I would like them so much. Those blueberries are amazing!! They look huge. Yum. Its exciting to see everyone's stash quilts. It is such a good feeling because it means people are using things they have and being productive. I love that feeling. Thanks to you and Ulla for doing this challenge.
Hellow Eileen,
Love those Lilies, especially the orange one, never seen lilies more than one layer! Ahh..how nice to pick berries..the only once we see here are imported and packed and sold in the supermarket. They cost a bomb to buy..I've only eaten blueberries cake..closest we get here :) happy weekend and hugs to you

I used to have hundreds of day lilly plants in my front yard at my old house. They lined my sidewalks and long drive way. Seeing your pictures made me miss them! I'm having fun working on the stash quilt too! --Nedra
I started my stash quilt today! I got the center done and need to work on the boarders.
That last lily is really pretty -- love the colour. We're still waiting for local blueberries but got local raspberries today. Yummy!
Oh my goodness I love your "peel" quilt in your photo. And your lilies are stunning ...blueberries too wow! THe birds get mine before I even got to enjoy them this year :(
Nice blog too
hia Eileen, wonderful warm colours on the lilies. I've finally done a post showing progress on everything. Thank you for organising this challenge.
I'm clearing out the spare room still. I have a feeling my bedroom will be my new dumping ground. LOL
Hope you're having a great w/e,
Best Wishes,
Melanie
The color on the lilies is so gorgeous--they almost don't look real! Beautiful photos! That is great that you have blueberries!
